Amanda Ogle, a contributor for Local Profile, recently featured Halter Ranch Texas as Fredericksburg’s first certified organic vineyard. In June 2024, we earned organic certification from California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), reflecting the same sustainable practices we’ve long followed at The Estate in Paso Robles.

Since opening in May, Halter Ranch Texas has welcomed guests to enjoy organically farmed wines and regionally inspired cuisine. This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the support of our incredible vineyard and winery partners across Texas who share our commitment to sustainability and quality.

Looking ahead, Winemaker Kevin Sass plans to plant organic Blanc du Bois grapes at Halter Ranch Texas with the goal of producing a sparkling wine that captures the unique character of the Hill Country.
