2024 Malbec

The 2024 Malbec has aromas of boysenberry, raspberry, and pie compote. A bright, vibrant entry filled with red and black fruits leads to a palate rich in elderberry, logan berry, and black plum. The finish is soft, clean, and easy drinking, nuanced by caramel and toasted oak.

Aging Recommendation: Drink now through 2050

Alcohol: 14.5% | pH: 3.82

Harvest Date: Block 54 9/28/24

Fermentation: A 5-day cold soak followed by a hot fermentation during the first 6 days of primary. Pump-overs 2-3 times daily until temperatures were cooled down around day 7. Fermentation took place in stainless steel closed-top tanks.

Aging: Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which were new.
