2024 Grenache Blanc

The 2024 Grenache Blanc has aromas of jasmine, honeydew melon, and juju fruit. The entry is crisp and refreshing, with flavors of pear, nectarine, and lychee. The palate is rich and layered with flavors of apricot and honey, leading to a clean, balanced finish. 

Blend: 86% Grenache Blanc, 12% Picpoul Blanc, 2% Heida

Aging Recommendation: Drink now through 2035.

Alcohol: 13.5% | pH: 3.36

Harvest Date: Grenache Blanc – Block 34: 10/1/24, Picpoul Blanc Block 46: 9/25/24, Heida Block VV: 9/3/24

Fermentation: Fermented in two Hungarian 500L puncheons and the remainder in neutral French oak barrels. The barrels were stirred once per week after finishing primary fermentation to incorporate the lees (battonage). This wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation.

Aging: Aged for 10 months in neutral French Oak.

Pairing Suggestions: Pair with oysters, ceviche, light pastas, and cheese.
