We’re dedicated to ensuring this land remains fruitful for generations. To yield a delicious crop of organic grapes year after year, we follow strict organic farming practices across our estate in Paso Robles. We avoid harmful pesticides and fertilizers, focusing on renewable resources while conserving soil and water. That’s why we’re proud to be both CCOF Organic and Regenerative Organic Certified®.

Regenerative Organic Estate Vineyard
As of December 2024, Halter Ranch is proud to be one of the few wineries with a Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC™) vineyard. Organic practices have always been at the heart of our values, making ROC™ certification the natural next step. All 237 acres of our Paso Robles Estate vineyard are 100% CCOF organic certified, which laid the foundation for achieving ROC™. The vineyard is cultivated using regenerative organic farming practices that support soil health, wildlife habitat, and our fellow community. This certification ensures that the organic grapes in Halter Ranch wines contribute to the exceptional quality in your glass.
A Journey Towards Organic
Halter Ranch proudly earned its official CCOF Organic Certification in August 2023, followed by Regenerative Organic Certification® in December 2024—a major milestone in our 2,700-acre estate’s commitment to sustainable farming. This achievement highlights our dedication to environmentally conscious practices. Watch our video to learn more about our path to organic certification and the dedication behind every step.
