| Winemaker’s Notes: |
The 2009 Syrah is crimson red with a vibrant purple hue. Plum, bing cherry and spice are surrounded by a subtle caramel aroma on the nose. The entry is driven by dark fruits, blackberry, black currant and cassis. The mid-palate has a velvety texture that segues into a finish with soft but present tannins. Enjoy this wine with game, fowl, lamb and smoked meats from now through 2022. |
