| Winemaker’s Notes: | A bright, saucy blend of Zinfandel, Grenache and Malbec, our 2008 Ranch Red displays a vivid cherry-red color and wonderfully fresh, brilliantly pure, and seductively creamy red cherry, raspberry, and blueberry fruit aromas. On the full-bodied palate, juicy raspberry and blackberry flavors predominate, balanced by a touch of savory spice and round, supple tannins. This is the perfect red for grilled burgers, marinated lamb kebobs, barbecued chicken, pepperoni pizza and red-sauce pastas. Delightful to drink now, it will age gracefully in bottle for another 3-4 years. |
