| Winemaker’s Notes: |
We named this intense dessert wine El Pecado ("The Sin" in Spanish), because it is sinfully good. A sweet, fortified blend of estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes left on the vine deep into the harvest season to concentrate sugars, it boasts luxurious cocoa, caramel, mocha, black fruit and licorice spice aromas. On the palate, its sweet, sumptuous, dark chocolate flavors are nicely balanced by a surprisingly spicy finish. Enjoy this limited-production dessert wine on its own or with chocolate and caramel-based desserts, walnuts and blue-veined cheeses.
