Our philosophy is simple
We are committed to quality. Our goal is to produce world-class Bordeaux and Rhone-style wines from our 240 acre Estate vineyard. We believe great wine is made in the vineyard, and we use a combination of old- and new-world farming techniques to cultivate superior wine grapes. All Halter Ranch wines are 100% estate-grown to ensure not only the highest quality, but consistency from vintage to vintage. Our wines are handcrafted from vineyard to bottle: from gentle cultivation, to careful hand-harvesting, and tender winemaking - each step we make to produce our wines is respectfully practiced. With this attention to detail, we are confident in our commitment to producing world-class wines.
We are stewards of the land. Our "whole-system" approach to farming encompasses not only our committment to the environment, but social equity and economics as well. Through conservation efforts, best management practices, green building, and more, Halter Ranch continues to be an industry leader in sustainability. Halter Ranch is a Certified Sustainable Vineyard through the Sustainability in Practice Certification program.
